Harriet Klein Allen married Clyde D. Allen April 19, 1928. Harriet graduated from Lewis & Clark High School and received a degree in Home Economics from Washington State College in 1926. She was employed by the Oasis Dessert restaurant's dietitian and was known as the only professional dietitian for a hotel restaurant in the West (excluding San Fransisco).
